Another step forward in my tiny warfare with a piece of silver, processed according to my inspiration of Thorin's belt buckle.
"The fire was red, it flaming spread (...)"
But it was not quite Tolkien story as described in Hobbit.
There was no torches trees but fire was real.
There was no enchanted gold but silver was pure.
Still I am not grasping those obstacles on path to complete this cufflinks, as if they were first things I have ever made in silver but certainly they were not.
I do not know what is so special in them that I had to fight so many battles before they were completed.
This piece of silver over and over had returned to crucible, before finally took proper shape. But when it was done, the satisfaction was huge. For those moments I am jeweler.
Difficult climbing to the top of this moutain resulted in:
